AQUATIC YOUTH

BRAND NEW: AVAILABLE CERTIFICATION COURSES FOR

CHILDREN 6 – 15 YEARS OLD

Are your children swimmers?

Do they have a passion for the water?

Do you wish for them to improve their aquatic skills?

Freediving is a beautiful sport, some people like to call it “extreme” but we prefer to say “controlled risk sport”. Therefore, it used to be believed that it should not be recommended for children. However, AIDA (International Association for the Development of Freediving) has developed a unique, fun, safe  and skillful program for children.

The focus of AIDA Youth Education is on relaxation, water familiarisation,  safety, submersion, mobility, propulsion, buoyancy and equalization. These skills assist a student’s development of breath control. The student learns “Breath Control” and not “Breath Holding”. Every single lesson has been carefully studied. In this way, making sure children/parents obtain a powerful set of skills and safety procedures to enjoy the aquatic environment.
